Good morning, Kathy. Veterans Park in Delray Beach sounds like the spirit of the American people are alive and well, in a place populated by the determination and goodness of a city and its people who are determined to promote eternal youth for people of ALL ages. This post is very uplifting. Isn't it amazing what a city that works can do for its people. Thank goodness there are people like you who live and work there who can share the stories of the Floridian people and places that are near and dear to all.
Keep posting Kathy, your stories are treasures for years to come.
Good morning Kathy,
Great local blog about Veterans Park, looks like something to add to my list of places to see the next time I am in Florida!
BarbaraT- I've always wanted to try the "tot lot" but maybe I'll do it when no one else is around.
Dorie- We go there when we're in the area and I love seeing all of the people enjoying the park.
Patricia- You are always so kind! Delray Beach has so much small town flavor yet all of South Florida is like one big metropolitan area.
Good morning Kathy-this looks like a great park-I am going to make it my business to go to the playground this winter and check it out for my new grandson! Maybe even go on the slide just to "test it". Fun.
Kathy....Looks like a great place to spend the day....Thanks!
Hope you have a great weekend!---Rob
Go Vols!
I love the "play ground" when I was a kid. Can't think of a single one near me anymore except at the schools whre they are private.
Nice park-gotta put that on my list now:)
Kathy, Delray Veterans park sounds like a great place with plenty of activities for all ages and kinds. That is great looking Gazebo! Enjoy your weekend!
Joanna- - we had friends that took "cruise" on the Lady Atlantic..might be something to look into.
Rob- hope you have a great weekend. May stop at the park tomorrow.
Tammy- through my husband's Geocaching, we've discovered a lot of parks here.
Marco- wait to come when there's an art show.. they're usually on the weekend when season starts.
John- I think you can have weddings there too. It's just so pretty being along the water.
Hi Kathy! I love your collages! You just do a beautiful post--so, I'm sure your staging is amazing! Great local post on Delray Beach; what a gorgeous area.
