Wow! Good choice for a Localism post! With trucks like this, you don't have to mess up you own kitchen cooking!
If we had those in my area I think I'd have to call it paradise. Oh what I miss about living by the coast and a big city.
Some of the best foods you can ever eat have been found on these trucks. I used to visit them often too. People take something, prepare it fast, and then serve it up reasonably priced...No overhead has its advantages
That looks like fun and great food. Awesome post! We didn't get the rain in our area but a lot of wind. Glad the weather stayed nice for the outting.
That seems like a really fun event, lots of delicious things to try and a good excuse to meet other locals. Love the photos!

Cheryl: The event is put on by the local Chamber of Commerce. Maybe you have a local group who would like to put something like this together.

Bryan: Really interesting weather last night. Some of the local football teams had games interrupted and a couple were even cancelled!

Good Morning John: Congratulation on being featured...This is a great idea. They are experimenting with something like this in Albuquerque also. The only thing is that it does not seem to be very organized, plus it is in the most depressed neighbornoods in the city.
We have food carts on a daily basis, especially in the downtown area. I keep thinkiing I have GOT TO do a post about this. Now I'm inspired by yours. I love these vendors. Food is good, quick and relatively inexpensive.
John, what a great event. i grew up and worked for a while in Los Angeles, and there were food trucks everywhere, every corner. Great food comes from those guys. Yum
I love watching the Food Truck shows on TV...think it is the Food Network? My favorite is the food truck race show.
Used to be that you would only see food trucks at constructions sites during the lunch hour. Now, they are the rage. Fast, cheap and fun.
