Today i was lucky enough to visit the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival for the afternoon. We got there right around 11am, trafic was still light. We parked and headed in. The lines were very small if at all at most booths. I think i sampled some of everything, i was actually too full for the famous apple crisp.

By noon the tents were getting full and the lines were getting long. I ventured to the outside where there was plenty of room to walk. After eating lunch i headed down the beach, set up my chair and enjoyed the sun. The waves were huge with the latest hurricane pulling out to sea. I tempted the water, it was cool but refreshing. It was then i realized i missed the Lobster Roll eating contest. But as i sat on the Jetty watching the boats and the fisherman... it was ok. For one afternoon the stresses of Real Estate were calmed. I am thinking i need to come back again Sunday for Monday will be here soon enough... and i still have a date with that applecrisp.

Nice post Scott, we need to get those little breaks to help with the stress of daily life and what better way than a seafood festival.

Thanks for sharing your photographs. That is my kind of festival.
