Today was a great day for I did something to help make money to save more great dogs.
It was WoofStock today and I had volunteered my time to be there early...8am to help set up. I help set up tables for the many wonderful silent auction items. I kept the pen out of my hand for wanted to bid on many items. We also set up three tents for had some items to sell as well as needed cover for the Boxers that were brought that need furever homes. There was also a tent for the face painter. The children loved her.
About 10am people started to arrive with their own pets. You name the kind of dog and they were there. I left about 12:30pm and you could barely move for there were so many people and pets.
It was a gorgeous day, not to hot and people were out to enjoy. I hope a lot of money was made that will go towards saving more Boxers and Great Danes.
Here are a few pictures that I took from today...
I have to commend these volunteers. They spend hours and hours of their time as well as much blood, sweat and tears in getting these dogs to safety.
Cheers to Great Dane Friends and Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue.
