Colorado Rockies Tickets and how one Denver Realtor is turning them into buyers

Ok, so the Colorado Rockies lost game 1 of the World Series. Hopefully that doesn't deter fans from heading to the home games coming up in Denver. I had one of those I should have thought about that moment yesterday for getting buyers. A Denver Real Estate Agent, a Denver Realtor had a stroke of genius. She came up with a short term brilliant advertising/marketing campaign. She had gotten a hold of a few Rockies world series tickets that sold like hot cakes. She put out advertisement of giving away the Tickets to a qualifying buyer (some restrictions apply). The ad went something like this: Buy a Home from me [name of realtor, company] and I will give you tickets to the World Series (some restrictions apply). She was featured by a couple of the local TV news a few times, and yes she did get a lot of publicity. It was not clear what the stipulations for being a qualified buyer was (sorry I was busy working... and missed the news where she was featured), so the speculation among other realtors was that the buyer needed to be prequalified or cash buyer, have signed agency agreement with the Realtor and ready to close within a short time period. Not bad for a few hundred dollars worth of tickets. So, for the lucky ones that have sought after tickets (to any event), this could be a clever marketing tool. It would be even better if you have time to advertise this type of campaign on your website and have buyers sign up [lead capturing, anyone]. I try to have some type of advertising corner on my site www.Kennaandco.com every-so-often. For awhile it may be a listing special and then a give-away of some sort etc. I hope this stimulates some not so conventional marketing thoughts and results in some closings for you.
