Tom: Great list. I've already cleaned the debris off and checked my roof. Got my firewood supply stacked up last week and my caulking gun is at the ready. Thanks for the reminders!
Shoot! It rained as you were hanging out with us and missed it!
Thanks Kirsten for being so prepared for rain. It will inspire me to do the same. ust not this weekend. :)
The rain kind of made a little bit of a mess up at our house Ed.
The saying is "It never rains in Southern California" This is a great list and I will be sharing with my co-workers and clients..
Thanks James for the comment, and the jingle. :)
Hope it helps others.
I saw the lightening yesterday. I guess that is a sign that winter rains are coming. I was just getting used to summer again. I'm still going to wait until Halloween to cover up the outdoor furniture, just in case the AR group wants to throw a party.
Smart thinking Tom. Preventative maintenance is os much better than dealing w/ the damage after the storm.
We want to have a party, even in the Rain Doug! You post it they will come!
It sure is Debbie, the secret is to keep up with it all.
Hi Tom - These are also great items to check and fix before winter sets in in the northern USA as well as Canada.d
I think you are right Marc. It probably is good anywhere, the timing may be different in different areas though. :)
These are great tips . . . good reminders for all of us!
Thanks Cheryl for the feedback.
I love reminders Donald, helps me to remember. :)
Tom, we're too late here in Virginia. We've had some horrific downpours during the last couple of weeks with the hurricane. Sunshine the last couple of days so things are looking up. Good checklist.
Thanks Michael, hope things have settled down for a while there.
Nice work reminding us about the gutters. So much damage to the house can occure just from faulty gutters. I have seen a lot of home destroyed from water leads
No problem Mark, hope this helps others.
Hi Tom, this is a great, comprehensive list to have, and one to get busy on. Great post!
Glad I could help Sandy, and thanks for the compliment!
