Here's a little riddle or perhaps a little fiddle. Can you guess what I've been doing? I've been doing it for years and I've witnessed many tears. I've been doing it for kicks and sometimes for tricks. I've been doing it at night under soft light. I've been doing it for love, sometimes wearing gloves. I've been doing it with young, I've been doing it with old, I've been doing it for some who are never sold.
At times it wears me out, but I'm never in doubt. It offers me joy and a few little toys. I'm never at home and I'm never alone. I strut my stuff and it's definitely enough. And when I'm asked, why I continue the task, I smile real big and offer a flask. This lovely charade has become a parade. I hate to give it up, especially the sup. I ponder it much but I'm enthralled with the touch. I'm considering such because it's become a bit much.
Can you guess what I've been doing? A quest of ensuing?! This isn't a spoof, nor am I aloof. There's an answer here, which I hold very dear. I'd like you to guess, or perhaps laugh in jest. My dear buddy Brian spoke of Dr. Seuss, I can assure you right now, I'm not a masseuse. I run for fun, I hold the keys, take a wild guess... if you please. Oh yes, a couple more things... I observe others who strike up a fling. It's often amusing and never abusing. I console, I cajole, and laughter's my goal. There's music playing and people saying, I love you Mel, you're real swell. I've been doing it undercover and some think I have a lover. It's not what you think, can you guess the missing link?
