I chose to spend the day watching flying things that don’t explode.
Peace to you all
Peace to you all

It was very challenging to watch the 911 programs today but I feel it's part of the way that we will remember the day and the people and how it has impacted a nation.
Good luck and success.

Toni,
I didn't feel that I had anything relevent to say today. It's pretty late and I'm just starting to comment now.

Howdy and evening Toni
Toni, you spend your day in a mighty fine way, enjoying watching things which Nature has to offer. I sure like your mighty fine Hummingbird photo. The day of 911 of our Country and folks being attack will always be in my mind no matter what I'm doing on it and each and every days. I spend most of my day out in the woods.
Have a good one

Toni - I understand how you feel. We watched about an hour of the memorial this morning and that is, literally, all I could handle. I don't mean any disrespect to those who gave their lives. I thank them for that ultimate sacrifice. I thank the service men and women who have given their lives on the battlefield over the last 10 years. I pray that, as the parent of a Sailor, that I will never have to go through what those families have. But I also know that if I do, I will do it with honor knowing our child loved her country.
I photographed birds today too and will post pix this week.
Toni- I need to put a feeder up because I am determined to take a pic of a hummingbird. I did watch the ceremonies and thank goodness for football or I would have probably watched it all day.
Toni, like you said, it's important to remember and then to move on and appreciate that which we have.
Toni,
We just got back from Hawai, and I calling Kobe home. Just then a hummingbird swooped at me, and then I see your post, and I agree with you whole heartedly. A
Hello Toni, we had a peaceful day as well. Just doing AR marketing and some cooking. We have hummers here but they are shy. We are only in this new house about six months and so hopefully they will get to know us better. Summers are so hot we are only out early morning. With Fall coming there will be more opportunity to get to know our new friends. We love the hummers and we have a cute grey squirrel that comes by. Putting out peanuts for Mr. Squirrel. Have a wonderful week!
Lou - We will definitely remember and we should.
Rich - there was so much being said and all of it so very sad.
Dale - if there were not alligators in the woods behind, I would have been there too.
Cyndi - thank you. I enjoyed my peaceful day.
Kathy - you have to have patience. I sit by the feeder with my camera till they get used to my being there.
Joni - thank you. They are so wonderful to watch.
Leah - life does go on all around us.
Alexandra - you went to Hawaii without me? And, I thought we were good friends :) I hope you had a great time. The hummingbird was telling you to look at my post.
Jeanean - have you put out a feeder for them or plants they like? They will come closer with a feeder.
Thanks everyone.
Hi Toni - It's as important to clebrate life as it is to remember, and sometimes we all need to choose one over the other. I'm glad you celebrated life.
That is a great photo to go along with your post Toni! Celebrating life is so important!
Judy - I am too. Thanks.
Barbara-Jo - thank you. Life goes on.
