Flag BurnersWhy can't these people, and you know who I am talking about, let the victims of 9/11 rest in peace?  It's been ten years.  Haven't they suffered enough?  Now you want to stick it to the survivors too? 
Read this article on a group of Muslims in London burning the American flag on the anniversary of 9/11, and with a great deal of pride and gusto to boot!  Had the shoe been on the other foot all hell would break loose.  Forget about the war for a minute.  Forget about all the other instances of American intervention in foreign Muslim countries too.  Is killing 3000 innocent civilians really the correct form of retaliation? 
Martin Luther King protested the right way and it worked.  Violence gets you nowhere except renewed hatred.  Maybe these folks can take a page out of his protest handbook?  But I don't think their mindset will ever change.  And I'm singling out all Muslims, just a bunch. 
Remember this, while America, believe it or not, Israel, was grieving on 9/11 Palestinians were dancing and celebrating in the streets of Gaza.  Yet they ask for our help.  I am sorry for bringing politics for this day of mourning, but this just irritates the hell out of me.  It's time for these radicals to let it go and accept defeat.  You may have one that battle, but you sure as hell didn't win the war.  I can't even begin what would happen to these guys should they attempt to do the same thing in the US. 
My heart aches for the people that were murdered, especially those on the planes because there can be nothing worse than being in a helpless position knowing full well that your life is about to come to an end in the most brutal and callous of ways.  Only a coward of the worst sort would have done what these maniac did on that fateful day.  May they rot in hell and the victims rest in peace in God's merciful hands.

I used to think, "Ignore them - they'll go away."  Well, that hasn't worked so well.  We need a new plan of attack and it is probably leaving all these countries to their own devices while keeping a very close eye on them.  Pull out the military, declare victory, and hope they get too busy killing each other to return here.  I think Europe is a lost cause as Londinstan and Paristan are statistically Muslim dominated cities within not too many years.

It's like we used to think about the Mafia (which I know does not exist) - if they are only killing each other, what's the difference.  Well we wouldn't have such horrific memories today if we didn't witness what took place 10 years ago today.

Pray for peace and pray for (and elect) a government that can bring it about in the near future.  This won't happen by either appeasement or by killling families with drones.  There has to be a 3rd approach.
