This is Caleb, my 85lb. 3 year old Golden Retriever. If you haven't had the pleasure of having a golden, you're missing out. They are the absolute best buddy dogs, provide zero protection, and are mostly high energy companions.
Since he's a social butterfly, I take him with my everywhere I can...including on showings on large acreage. He enjoys running the fields, discovering new wildlife and just being out and about. He's also the source of some of my business.
Since he's so loving and adorable, people love to come up and introduce themselves to him and the conversation can turn to real estate. Funny how that happens.
Don't tell anyone...but if I have to work in the office on the weekends, I sometimes bring him with me. He lays in the corner of my office and sleeps...sometimes snoring, awaiting his next task. In fact, I think every office should have an official office dog. They can be used to sniff packages for bombs, alert folks of a smelly fridge, act as couriers up and down stairs, and serve as goodwill ambassadors to those not having a good day. I figure the President of the United States has his dog at work...why not me.
So am I the only one who does this?
