Friday Night Lights is a big deal in Texas.   High school football is an amazing time whether you have children playing or not.  Well, this past Friday was the big game between our two high school football teams, A&M Consolidated High School in College Station and Bryan High School in Bryan.  Every year the game is played on Kyle Field home to the Texas A&M Aggies football team.  The Brazos Boot is a trophy that is passed back and forth between the two teams depending on who wins the game.  Consol has had the trophy for 2 consective years and was looking forward to a hat trick (3 consecutive games) to keep it at the Field House.  Needless, to say Consolidated won the game 27-22, but not before a great rally from Bryan to bring the game within 5 points before time ran out on them.  The game was suspenseful and the before and after tailgating is always a good time.  Same time same place next year for some good old fashion rivalry.
