Covered Bridges of Lancaster County are part of her proud history. This is part of living in Lancaster. There have been 28 bridges in Lancaster, but one was lost during the flooding in Lancaster. However, there are still 27 bridges in Lancaster.
One of those bridges is Forry's Mill Covered Bridge located in West Hempfield Township.
This covered bridge spans the Chicques Creek and has tranquil waters quietly running below the bridge. This bridge is in greater disrepair than the others I have witnessed in this series.
Come to Lancaster to see the Covered Bridges. This is part of living in Lancaster and it is inviting you to come a explore. Come home to Lancaster.
