1ST ANNUAL ACTIVERAIN TALENT COMPETITON!!!

 

In order to promote the new VBLOGGERS group and also warm more people up to the idea of video blogging, we are proud to announce Activerain's 1st Annual Talent Competiton!

So now you are probably thinking to yourself... Hmmmm.. I'm not sure I really have a talent...That is OK!! It doesn't have to constitute as a "legitimate" talent. You could sing, dance (preferrably not in your underwear, because none of us really want to see that), a stand up comedy routine, a workout video Alan May style, tip a cow, shred documents, belch the alphabet, chop off the top of a champagne bottle with a Samurai sword, fold clothes, do whatever and submit it!!!

So here are the Rules:

Contest will start July 15th, 2011 and will end September 15th, 2011 12:00AM EST.

Your video entry must be no longer then 3 minutes. 

You must join the VBLOGGERS group and submit all video entries to the group.

You must leave a link to your entry on this blog as well.

 

The wonderful judges will be: Stacey Smith, Chris Alston and Pamela St. Peter

  

The judges will be narrowing down the entries to the top ten videos, they will be making their decisions based upon:

Originality
Entertainment Value 
Technicality (How much thought and effort you actuality put into it, and skills learned in video and editing tools)

Once the top videos have been selected the Activerain community gets to vote for the winners!

So What are the Prizes?

1st Place:

• 6,000 Points
• Activerain T-shirt
• Free Outside Blog

2nd Place:

• 5,000 Points
• Activerain T-shirt

3rd Place:

• 4,000 Points

All Participants:

• 2,000 Points

So start thinking about what you want to do.. Film it, attach your entry to this blog, and HAVE FUN!!!
