 Wylie Texas Market Report for Summer 2011 of Home Rentals

 

Lease homes were a HOT commodity in Wylie, Texas this summer! The average days on market was approximately 24 days per the Multiple Lising Service. The larger homes always take a little longer to lease. The homes ranged from 1095 sq feet to 4500 sq feet with the average lease amount of approximately $1400.00 per month.

After august there is always a slow down on lease homes due to the rush to be in a certain school district before school starts ! If you are thinking about listing your home for lease fall of 2011 I think the homes will lease with a few days more on market.  The chart below is from 09/01/2010-12/31/2010. The average days on market was 36 days.

I have been working leases in Wylie since 2005, it is my opinion that leases are steady even in the fall!!
