Stretching the truth will get your reputation stretched. Thin, that is.
Sometimes real estate professionals get as much respect from the public as a snake oil salesman. And sometimes they deserve it.
Stretching the truth when advertising your listings doesn't serve anyone well. It doesn't help the homeowner get the house sold. It doesn't put cash in your pocket. And most of all, it doesn't help the real estate buying public find what they want.
And it certainly doesn't help that real estate buying public trust you. After looking forward to seeing this "beautifully maintained farmhouse" they saw on the internet, what do you think they'll think when they see a bank owned abandoned foreclosure that needs "fix up/TLC"?
And what do you think they'll think of you?
