14 Comments on Serena Lost Her Bounce--How's Your Real Estate Bounce?
Norma, OH THE TITLE! Had me laughing before I even read it! Normally I'm not a tennis watcher, but I think the free world has heard via news about poor Serena's lapse. I kinda feel sorry for her because we all have bad attitudes sometimes - just not on tv and then not replayed til you just want to throw up on the news. I hope she comes back with a clearer head and a serve to boot!
Linda - She appeared tired and couldn't shake off the call she did not like. Sometimes it's best to let it go and move on--we have to do that all the time in our biz...
Norma I heard about this - great tie into to real estate. It's so important to stay at the top of our game which means getting enough sleep and taking care of ourselves. I do believe this is something a lot of us forget more often than we should. We need a reminder!

She may take McInroes place as the bad mouth of tennis and wind up with making lots of money off this. It is sad that parents let their children look up to these folks and so disapointing when they find out they are as human as anyone.
Norma, I am not a tennis buff ... and do not watch the games. That said, I do not need to like or understand tennis to know that we all must be on "our game" and put our best efforts forward in whatever game we play. As you point out, it is no different in real estate. I hope this gets Featured!
Unfortunately, she was also not clear-headed enough to control herself and not abuse the umpire once again. We all need to be focussed on what we are doing and remain in control.
I think it was her earrings...... kept her off balance! Too heavy to "bounce"Ha! The men's match today was awesome. It had me thinking: "these men have to be the most physically fit men on the planet".... such endurance to play day after day to get to the finals and then to perform at the level they did.... congratulations Djokovic, he was amazing! so glad he won!
Anna - Who among us has not received a few "bad calls"--the secret is to shake it off and keep playing.
Charles - Saying nothing at all takes far more control than telling someone exactly how you feel. Of course the microphone was capturing every word for posterity.
Kathleen - Calling up our best effort under difficult circumstances is what separates the pros from those who feel entitled and determined to have it their way.
Jane - I have always believed a successful ending is better than a tirade that blows the deal...
Teri - That's funny--I know I could never play with those--when I played lots of tennis I wanted absolutely nothing to interfere with my focus on the game.
Norma, great thoughts about bouncing back and recovery time being longer as we get older and using Serena as an example. We so have to tune into our physical wellness and figure out how to rejuvenate ourselves.
Gary --Boy, is that the truth and I think Serena was puzzled because her reaction time was sluggish. Those twentysomething legs have a lot more bounce than older ones...running on empty catches up with us.
