Marina Del Rey Kitty update on Douggy, Jack & Jill!

As you know recently we had a new addition to our household. Diane & I have been big supporters of the Animal Rescue Group: The Lange Foundation. So it was a natural progression that we had one more join our household.

After numerous adoptions later we have three Kitties at home. Two of them are Lange Rescues and one dropped in and decided he wanted to live with us. Douggy (the elder statesman now is a Lange veteran), Jack who knocked on our Door and of course Jill who just joined us recently (she is also a Lange veteran)

Here are a few pictures that I wanted to share and let you know that Jill was immediately incorporated into the house hold after 24 hrs they are together as if they were always together.

Great idea Endre. There are lots of cat lovers out there, good idea to target them.

Endre - We have grandchildren with very bad allergies so our house is not a great cat lovers home but we discovered a mother cat had decided to have her litter of three under our front porch.

We have put up signs in the neighbourhood with pictures and hopefully someone will recognize them (at least momma) and will call and get them. In the meantime it has been fun watching her come and take possession of our front porch to stretch out in the sun and nurse her brood, much to our dog's disgust (they seem to get along fine). The last few days she has been bringing many small furry critters for dinner to supplement her nursing them.

Momma looks well cared for and has been declawed so we are hoping that she will take her brood home one of these days soon.

Tina, I have been a Pet Friendly Realtor for the past 15+ years and it is not just about the "targeting" I probably spent more money by donating to the "rescues" than what I received in commission from Pet friendly buyers and seller. Just to give you an idea I had an add running in Best Friends Magazine for 2 years to the tune of over $5000+, without any returns:))))

Kathy, that is very unfortunate about the "allergies", what is more unfortunate that the Cat is De-clawed but not Spayed. Please call your nearest Pet rescue group so they can help you capture and Spay and Neuter the "family" and maybe find a new Forever Home for them>

Debra, they sure do, Diane slept out with them the first two nights to make sure socialization did not have a glitch
