ActiveRain protocol

I am fairly new to ActiveRain and want to make sure I'm using it correctly and not rubbing anyone wrong with my posts.  Is there a protocol or even just a silent rule about who posts comments on forums and blogs?  What I mean is that I am a Licensed Assistant and I suppose I'm wondering if it irritates anyone that I have been leaving a few comments on topics.  It seems that most of y'all are agents.

Please let me know if I'm crossing the line on posting.  I don't want to aggravate anyone and I certainly don't want anyone holding back knowing I'm reading and responding as an assistant.

I appreciate honesty and integrity, so please share your thoughts.  I promise I won't be offended, well maybe a little. :) hehe

Thank you,

Diana

Diana - Welcome aboard. I guess you didn't receive my email. It is perfectly fine for you to post comments. You can not offer real estate advice (some of our readers are actually customers). I will be glad to review your commenting capacity. Visit my blog, read a few and comment. I will let you know how you are doing.

Welcome to Active Rain.  I think it is great that you are on line and commenting.  As a licensed assistant, you are certainly qualified.  Whether you are working as an agent or not.  So keep it coming!  Not sure about the last comment about not offering real estate advice.  My assistant is a licensed Sales Agent and Realtor and perfectly capable and qualified to offer Real Estate advice.  -Tango on.

Assistants can also provide a very valuable perspective.  So,I welcome hearing what you have to say.  And, I hope you blog a lot to keep us posted.

Finally, best wishes to you, your family and friends down there in the San Diego area.

Hello and welcome to Active Rain. I think we can leave comments on blogs and if someone does not like it they can delete it.

Welcome aboard.  There are plenty of non-Realtors who are posting on ActiveRain. I am sure you have plenty of ideas and knowledge to share.

Diana...

I don't mind. There are plenty of other assistants here :)

I think it would help for you to read the AR Guidelines. They're at the bottome of every page.

Stay within the guidelines and you're good to go :)

Great responses, thank you.

John:  I don't intend to give advise other than very general.  If anyone is asking for specific advice I will bring it up to the agents I work for and have them respond under their login.  I will check out your blogs.

Tanya, Mary and Rob: I hope to give a different perspective to some of the issues being discussed.  I promise to wait at least a month before ruffling any feathers. haha

Mary: Thank you for your thoughts, San Diego County is certainly being ravaged. Mother nature is definitely making her statement this week.

Peg:  I hear what you said and hope they don't delete it but you make a good point. :-)

Maria:  thank you!  it is open but I suppose I just wanted to glide in instead of stomping in. :-)

thank you to the wife. :-)  I'll read the guidelines, I think I read them when I joined but a review will be helpful.
