Does it frustrate you when you are attempting to establish trust with someone, and they just don't seem to want to give it to you? Do you believe trust is established by your working with someone? Well, that's only half the picture. Trust is established many ways. One way is to ‘make a promise and keep it'. Do you ever tell someone you'll call them back, and then don't call? Do you promise to get some paperwork to someone, and then, you don't do it? Okay. I know there are reasons. But, reasons, excuses, and explanations for breaking your word don't help establish trust. They erode it. So, simply, Make a promise and keep it.

You can't sell anything to anyone if they don't trust you. And, real estate salespeople are rated among the lowest in any profession for trustworthiness (not my rating - the consumer's rating!). So, how are you going to overcome the profession's low trustworthy rating?  By providing evidence of your claims. For example: You know an overpriced listing doesn't sell. But, do you know how to prove it to the client. By showing evidence. Remember, We believe what we see, not what we hear.
