I can not remember a time in recent Wisconsin sports history that three major sports teams (Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and UW football) are dominating their respective sports. We are really experiencing a sports renaissance in Wisconsin and it’s almost too exciting.

Last but definitely not least, let’s talk about BUCKY!!!!!!!!  The Wisconsin Football Badgers are 2-0 and are ranked seventh in the AP Top 25.  On average the Badgers are scoring 43 points a game and giving up about 9 points.

Russell Wilson (Senior QB transfer from North Carolina) has been what the doctor ordered for Bucky this year.  Wilson is unbelievable.  Russell Wilson has the second best national passing efficiency and he has a 5-0 touchdown-to interception ratio.  Offensive players like Jacob Pedersen (So. Tight-end - 3 touchdowns) and Nick Toon (Sr. Wide-out – 1 touchdown) are getting a lot of action

This team is stacked – UWs defense is stout.  Wisconsin’s defense, against Oregon State, broke up 10 passes.  I must mention Mike Taylor (Junior LB.) Mike Taylor was Big 10 defensive player of the week.  Taylor was unconscious – he had a sack, forced a fumble, and had 9 tackles.  Also keep an eye on Chris Borland (Sophomore LB) and Antonio Fenelus (Senior LB) on the defensive side of the ball.

UW Football is so good that some are saying they will roll through the Big Ten this season and play in a BCS game.

Your teams are pretty hot. Minnesota teams are not right now. Unless you count the WNBA team.
