Hi Roy~ What a charming face! Owls are quite extraordinary creatures.
Thanks for sharing this Whose Who of the owl kingdom with us!
Roy- You take to the best pictures- What an interesting color this owl has very different from the ones i've seen in the past. Does the coloring have to do with the region that its found in?
Colors do vary with Barn Owls. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barn_Owl

Hi Roy, what a stunning owl. I love how his face is outlined. The gifts of mother nature are the best. Great photo.
Hello Roy! What an AWESOME picture! I am so intrigued by owls! Have a great night!
Roy,
That is a beautiful bird I do not have any birds to share but I will share a tree. I just thought it was interesting looking. I took it on my recent trip to NYC.
Thanks so much for your comments. Have an outstanding September.

Roy - Your photos of this owl, and also the geese in your comments, is extraordinary. At first glance, I almost thought it was a porcelain figurine perched there.
Good evening Roy, First time I see this unusual barn owl, thanks for sharing your great photo.
Roy, What a beautiful creature and your photos are stunning. I think I like your Cannon G11 a lot but I think the guy taking the shot needs to know what he is doing and your certainly do!

How cool! We have screech owls, and an occasional horned owl... But I have never seen a barn owl up close!
That is a very interesting looking bird!
Roy, I had an occasion many many years ago to help save an injured baby barn owl, I think. I got photos at that time, but digging them up would be an act in frustration. I hope to include a photo here for you, but my darned computer has been acting horribly, so excuse me if I comment and it doesn't happen.
This lovely specimen is such a great model, isn't he?? I like all of his angles and he seems to be posing for you like any fashion model wearing fur would do!
This was a lynx named Bailey, raised in captivity right down the street from me here at Fishhawk Lake.
Good morning to all. Thanks so much for your comments. Have a great day and an outstanding month. Be sure to have your camera in hand for the special moments.

Roy, that Barn Owl is quite stunning and so are the shots. He is a marvel. Thanks as usual for inspiring us on all levels.
Roy, What a great picture. Where is his mouth and nose? Poor guy. You got an amazing picture.
Hi Roy,
Of course, here is another fantastic picture. I could only dream to get half the quality as you do. This owl has very unusual coloring; I love it. Thanks for sharing.
Here is one of my favorite pictures.
Stunning pictures of the owl, they are so fascinating to look at.
Thanks so much for your comments. These are my first Barn Owl photographs.
