Are the rooms large enough for you?

Are any drapes / window treatments included?

What do the ceilings and walls look like? Do they appear to be in good condition?

What condition is the flooring in the main traffic areas?

Do you have all of the cable, electrical, and telephone hookups you need?

How do you feel when you walk in to the main entry of the home?

     -What condition is the flooring in the main entryway?

     -Is it large enough for you?

     -Do you need a coat closet? Is one available?

Does the living room/family room fit your needs?

     -Is there a place for all of your furniture and entertainment items?

     -What condition are the floors in?

     -Is the room cable ready?

Is the kitchen large enough?

     -Do you have enough counter space?

     -Do you have enough cabinet and pantry space?

     -What condition are the floors, counter tops, and cabinets in?

     -Is there room for the kitchen table and the hutch?

     -What condition are the appliances in and are they included?

     -Do you prefer a certain type of stove and is that service available?

     -Do you have plenty of outlets for your small appliances?

     -Is the work space large enough and doesit have a good flow?

     -How far do I have to carry my groceries to get to this kitchen and am I willing and able to carry them that  far?

How many bathrooms does the home have?

     -Are they large enough?

     -Do they have showers or just a tub?

      -Do you have any special needs and do the bathrooms allow for those needs to be met?

     -What condition are the floors, fixtures, cabinets, vanities, etc?

     -Do you have enough storage for medicines, linens, toiletries, etc?

Do you require a separate dining area and does this home have one?

     -Will all of your dining room furniture fit?

     -What condition are the floors in?

What do you think of the bedrooms?

     -Are they large enough for your family?

     -Do they provide enough storage?

     -Is there a master bathroom and a walk in closet in the master bedroom? Do you need those items?

     -What condition is the flooring in?

     -Is there a point of egress in each room in case of a fire emergency?

     -Do you have any special needs and are the needs being met with these bedrooms?

     -Will your furniture fit?

        be sure to check height and width when figuring this out. An 8 foot tall post bed doesn't always work with

        8 foot ceilings and a ceiling fan in the room.

Is there a laundry room/area?

     -What condition are the washer and dryer in?

     -Is there enough room for a family your size?

     -What floor is the laundry on and is that OK with your needs?

Is there enough storage in the house?

How large is the garage? Will it meet your needs?

Does this feel like a place you can call home?

Will this home meet your needs and expectations?

Do you love this home? Does it have potential?

Do things need repaired or changed and have you considered whether or not those repairs are in your budget?
