Southern California Homeowners Insurance Issues

If you currently have any escrows open, please re check with the insurance company regarding any policy changes to insure the home.  Please check on the fire insurance.  Many companies are changing their policies and/ or requiring an agent to do an inspection or drive by to confirm property eligibility.  Also many loan companies are not drawing loan docs until they have all this information and approval from the insurance companies.  Just be aware of these delays for your clients.   Lets hope things settle down once these companies have determined the largest areas of risk.    Melissa Dano/ REMAX  Mission Viejo
