Albuquerque Paradise West neighborhood is located in far northwest Albuquerque and includes Ventana Ranch, Ventana Ranch West and parts of Paradise Hills.
As you can see form the graphic, closed sales are down from their peak in March and April. Pending sales, those homes under contract but not yet closed are down as well. The number of homes for sale are up having increased substantially in August.
Paradise West MLS Area has been hit especially hard by foreclosure sales. In fact, this past March foreclosures and short sales made up 68% of the closed sales in Ventana Ranch, one of the the highest totals I have seen so far.
The incredibly high amount of foreclosure properties avaiable in March and April are at least part of the reason that sales ballooned this spring. View March Ventana Ranch Foreclosoure Report.
