Scott Austin City Limits has been such a great resource to discover new bands or see old ones in a new light. Enjoy the festival.

Scott, that's a good thing to do in light of all those wildfires in your area. Hopefully, the law enforcement will be able to get the cooperation of everyone at that festival this year.

Maybe they should have a designated smoking area with pools of water for the butts. It would be a shame to put a blaze on the music festival. I hope you get to enjoy it with some cooler temps.

Going to be hard to enforce, but necessary due to the drought.

Scott - It's probably a good idea considering how many fires have started due to cigarettes and considering how dry it's been, there a good chance it could happen. Have a great day!

Scott, I love any reason to keep people from smoking!  And to prevent fires is a great reason.  Hope you get some rain soon!

This idea is idiotic considering the fact that its impossible to enforce everyone from smoking. Without a designated area people will smoke anywhere they can and probably drop them where they stand instead of a safe depository.

This is a great idea! (if they can manage it). Its far to dry out there and its better to be safe than sorry.

Comment #3 sounds like a good compromise. I know they're just trying to err on the side of caution, and I'm not a smoker myself, but it sounds like a rule like that could keep people away from a super popular festival.
