They Say," Time is Money" ~ Do You Budget Yours or Spend it Like Water?

There are a lot of similarities between time and money.

Both can be saved.
Both can be wasted.
Both can be lost.

Most of us recognize the importance of controlling our finances, and we have taken actions to make the most of the money we have. We take steps to increase the amount of money in our possession. Money is always on our minds.

We budget our money.
We keep records of how we spend our money.
We monitor our credit scores.
We invest our money.

Unlike money, however, our time is finite. There isn't much we can do to increase our time. It is, therefore, all the more important that we take similar actions concerning our time. Time should always be on our minds.

We should budget our time.
We should keep records of how we use our time.
We should monitor the value of what we do with our time.
We should invest our time wisely.

Don't forget time is a gift. Let's treasure it.

Time goes by so fast. When I was a little kid it seemed to drag by. Now that I am 50+ it seems to fly at light speed.

One of the first times I budget daily is time with my family, then business. Business will always be there family may not be.

If I wake up tomorrow and my family wasn't there, I would say I wish I had spent more time with them. I would never say, oh my family is gone, I wish I had spent more time at work.

Rosario, the truth about time is we ALL have the SAME amount of it. Some people get a lot done with theirs while others seemingly squander it. Places like Active Rain I find to be very efficient with time because you can compress your learning from so many sources (like yourself) all in one area. Great minds here!
