This is a common sight throughout some areas of southwest florida now too with the increase in foreclosures

Arina...

I knew the answer before I read the clue...We need a harder one next time :)

Things like this remind me that perhaps I have seen too many of these foreclosures in my career.

TLW...ROAR!

Several of the foreclosures I toured recently were literally trashed. This is mild by comparison.

Arina, even the color of the one on the left seems to reflect a saddened condition...

We had a foreclosure in our neighborhood, three doors down.  The neighbors first called in to complain to the city about the grass, etc.  When they saw the notices go up, they decided to mow the grass and others kicked in with mulching the beds and trimming the sprouters off the tree in front.   There was a feeling of contributing to the good of whomever ended up buying the house and the neighborhood looked much nicer.  Once it was listed, it only took 87 days to sell.  It closed just last month.  And we love our new neighbors!!!!!!!

It is a sad reality, but true, everything around the property reflects that it is in foreclosure. The basic neglect certainly doesn't help the neighborhood.

The lawn was somewhat of a giveaway, although the property doesn't appear to be as far gone as most foreclosures I have seen.

Wayne :Thank you for your thought. It is only one symptom among others.

Randy : Water restriction... only for those who are burned by desperation.

Scott : It is the same around here... and I believe everywhere else. The sadness has the same face -(:

Rosario; Foreclosure can be very dramatic and destructive for many.

I only hope that you don't mind me answering to all of you in one comment... I don't like to score easy points.

Brian:    Maybe the house was doomed from the very beginning... we should watch for the colors and exterior of a property and get the feelings. Just as we do with people when we get the first impression.

Natalie:   Great story. Learning here... Thank for your comment

John : Don't even try... it is exhausting, I know. just call me Arina

Cris : It is just in life. When somebody is low and depressed affects everyone around... staring with the family and friends. But it's a fact of life. And sometimes bad thing happen to good people.
