Today, the Blogging & Technology Seminar was held at the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors auditorium. A variety of different inter-related professions were represented in the 55 individuals who were present. The seminar focused on understanding the implications of the latest technologies and the different platforms which were available.
Lola Audu started the program by comparing the current challenge in real estate to the re-tooling which is occurring in the state of Michigan as the manufacturing sector is struggling to respond to a changing worldwide market place. She also spoke about why Blogging is important and shared some simple ways to enhance a blog post. Participant were given the opportunity to sign up for individualized Blog Therapy Sessions or Blogging Boot Camp.
Sara Bonert with Zillow.com presented an excellent overview of different ways in which real estate professionals can participate in Web 2.0 apart from blogging. Here are some comments received from the professionals who were present. (All quotes are used by permission)

The FINAL Seminar will be held on November 7, 2007at the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors auditorium located at 660 Kenmoor. Registration will be confirmed when payment is received. The cost is $35 or $40 for walk-ins.
