Join Professor Gisela Gil and her Communications class for the first of a 7 part weekly series to learn about the how the media affects us in everyday life–movies, television, advertising, social media, internet websites and more can send messages that we may not pick up on.
Refreshments will be served at each session and the final session will be a party along with a celebration of the series with rewards and more

That would be an interesting class! I don't think most of us realize how powerful these messages are that lambaste us on a daily basis. Wish I was close enough to attend.
Gail: I hope you blog about some of the lessons learned to share with those of us who live too far away to attend.
Gail that is a very interesting subject matter, I too would attend if I was closer.
Gail those that attend will be surprised at the extent that the media impacts us, without us realizing it.
