OK so I have to start by telling you that this is going to be a pretty short blog.

I am blogging from my new Treo680. I know, I know, you are all so very jealous.

I have been wanting one of these phones for such a long time and I finally have the nerve/money to get one.

I like it except it has a problem communicating with Office 2007 and it does not allow for your address book and your calendar to transfer.  There is a patch that you have to install and I believe that once that patch is installed it should work fine.

Have any of you out there had any problems with Real Estate type programs running on Windows Vista?  I have found that there are several..... too many.... patches to install just yet, and I would suggest to anyone looking for a new computer to wait a while until all the bugs are out of the new Vista software.

For Zip Forms, I have found that if you change the theme of your computer back to Windows Classic and use Internet Explorer it works much better.

If you have questions about how to change any of those things, leave me a comment and I can explain it.

At this point, i think my fingers are about to fall off and I have spent more time than I should have on this blog.

I THINK I WILL STICK TO THE COMPUTER NEXT TIME, but I just wanted to check it out to see if it would work.

I love my TREO too but I have an old one ( a 650). Keep us updated on the patches and what it is going to take to make it easy!!!

I too have a 650 Treo and just love it, but they do keep getting better all the time.  Have fun!

Typing that much without mistakes is impressive!  Which program do you use for email on the device?

Tom, I'm just using the VersaMail program from the Palm Desktop.  It works great.  I had to do a lot of playing with it, but I got it all to work.  It keeps me up to date as SOON as I get an e-mail.

The only bad this is that it wakes me up starting about 7:00AM when its starts dinging with new messages.

Thanks for the comment!!

My dad just got a Treo 755p from Sprint and has no clue how to use it! I tried to explain stuff but I am a Blackberry user so all of his stuff looked like Greek to me. lol. As for Vista, I have had some issues with Outlook 2003 and Zipforms but you are correct about the Zipforms fix.
