Paying it forward is how you get ahead in life. The secret to life and happiness is to give first before you receive without regard for receiving at the time you are giving. Here on Active Rain I have found some of the most giving people in our industry.
One person that stands out in the area of going the extra mile is Adam Waldman from Long Island, New York.
Not only is his blog helpful to consumers and real estate agents, he is also a good quality writer. Adam started a group called, Active Rain Addicts in which he writes a detailed weekly post about what happened in the group the week before and he spotlights posts from members of the group. He also interviews a different Active Rain member each week in a detailed interview and posts it in the group so we can all learn more about each other. Adam devotes a lot of time to do these posts and to run the group. I know how long it takes to blog so I am quite impressed with his genuine care and concern to make this group a great learning place for the members.
Adam always finds the time to comment on mine and many other posts. He does not just leave a two word comment. I know he actually reads my blog by the content of this comments.
Now Adam has gone all out and started a new group to help us all, Active Rain Contest Announcements and Results. This is the place to list all the contests going on in the Rain. You can just go there and check and see what is posted. I think this again is going the extra mile!
