9 Comments on WHO DO YOU BELEIVE YOUR CLIENT OR THE TERMITE COMPANY
Wow, that is twilight zone. I can understand that they don't look like they are doing much for an inspection, but treatment? That sounds weird, I probably would have gone out to inspect the issue myself.
Geez, client needs to pack some boxes. She's moving. Stop doing everyone elses job.
Yvette....Actually, I cut to the chase and went to who it matters the most. I told the buyers agent to do just that and then sign off if they are satisfied...He did and he did
Connie...I hear you and actually asked her how her end was doing.....My was moving like a high speed rail
Richie:
Funny story. Sometimes it looks like nothing is being done. The termite guys are professionals. They do what they say. Hope that is the case where you are.
I never let an inspector near a house without me there, so I've never had a problem like this. I take it you don't attend inspections?
Evelyn.....yes dear lady it is the case down by me too....This reminds me of the FSBO folks who think agents do nothing or that they can do "nothing" better and cheaper than agents. When hired, I invoke a Real Estate team that goes to work the minute I sign up a listing...from there, fasten your seat belt.. cause this ride ends at escrow...
Cynthia..one of my favorites...I do attend inspections, but what do I know about Termites? I outsource to pros who do their thing and then I involve (via disclosure) all parties to the transaction. My listings, agent remarks, and disclosures make clear to verify and satisfy all things to every-ones standard of satisfaction and not mine...Lets assume the buyer and his agent didn't like the termite inspection or work, then we would proceed with what they did like not what they didn't. Also, the termite people would want to know what the problem was too. Keeping things simple, clear, focused and moving forward has never failed. Too many cooks in the kitchen does
I should mention the report (several pages) turned in by these people had pictures and diagrams showing exactly the problem and treatment required for each area...What else is there to know here?
Richie - I know nothing about termites either, never been fond of the little critters. Sounds like your client must have been distracted by a captivating moment on All My Children and wasn't paying much attention to what the termite guy was doing.
Cynthia....Ruler of Sonoma County and exclusive agent for Safe Haven Realty....My clients start out wanting to know a lot of things, but before they know it, escrow has closed. Perhaps they can catch my show on their next transaction? Always a pleasure dear lady
