Divine Intervention is real. My customers hear me speak of continually. Truly there is a sound connection between how the world around us reacts to our being. Karma may be another word to describe it. The year has been tough in our area. Buyers are losing their homes, values have plumeted because of job loss and the number of foreclosures on the market in way higher than it has ever been. Several transactions closed with no marketing fee this year. The year was coming to an end, goals were not met. We were running out of ideas to

(Toured the devasted parts of the town on my 2 hour ride to the airport, the 9th ward was so sad). I prayed and gave thanks on the plane - I came back from NARdi Gras, praising God for the abundance he has given myself and those around me. By abundance, I mean, health, the ability to live a simple life with family and friends, This is Thursday, be back later grandson calling grandma...

The day I get back from New Orleans, a home that was listed, had a flooded basement, we had many showings and everyone was afraid of basement. I explained to the owner that they needed to pray and ask for a buyer to come that can deal with the situation. owner was moving north for a job opportunity. The next day a buyer looked at the home, seller explained about the basement - she said no problem, she will figure it out.
CLOSED Monday. 
Another listing in the country had many faults and wet yard that sat low and needed fill. The seller prayed very hard for a buyer that had handy men in the family to help with the faults of the home. Buyer looked at home, made a full price offer, father in law is a handy man and will adress the problems the house has. CLOSING Tues.
Out of the blue a past client walked in and said he needed to buy a condo, found him one and it closed Nov 30th CASH, The great things go on...There will be 4 more closings before the end of the year -
I spoke to Another agent who had not had a closing all year. I explained that a better approach to getting through these times might be to pray more. To thank our Higher Power for all that we do have. To go out in the community and help some of the less fortunate. 
Since November 12 that agent has had 3 closings with one more to come. The Secret.... Agent realized that it is not really about what we want....but what we contribute to others around us.... by removing the "I" from our lives we have found hope for ourselves and our clients.
