There are statistics in Medway for the number of households with animals - I don't know what they are in Medway but I'd venture to guess it's in excess of 50% - So to have a park specifically for dogs is a great asset in town. I know because my 1 year old Vizsla,Gus, and I often spend some time there - Time for Gus to romp and play - and I get a chance to catch up with friends or meet new ones who have a similar interest.
People come from all over to use this park. I hear there's another in Foxboro but I don't know of any other in abutting towns. As a realtor, people will say to me - Medway, oh that's the town with the dog park. It is a selling feature for some buyers.
