Have you read Joe Vitale's book, The Attractor Factor? If you are familiar with the book or movie "The Secret", you will remember the contribution of Dr. Joe Vitale. Having watched the movie and read the book, I was curious to learn more of what Joe had to say. So, I bought his bestselling book and devoured it. It is one of my favorites and I recommend it to those who want to understand how the Law of Attraction is ALREADY working in your life.
This post begins a series of posts which will be the reading journal of my study of this wonderful book.
The subtitle of The Attractor Factor is "5 Easy Steps For Creating Wealth (Or Anything Else) From The Inside Out."
Pat O'Bryan, Director, The Milagro Reasearch Institute says, "(This book)...is the missing ‘owner's manual' for your mind. By using Dr. Vitale's five simple steps, you can regain control of your beliefs and learn to focus your intentions to create the life you really want."
Where Is Your Business Card?
Joe tells the story of meeting a business woman in an elevator on the way to a large business event. When he asked for her business card she said that she didn't have one. He was shocked that she would miss the opportunity to share her business with those present. She would miss a big marketing opportunity.
As he thought about it he knew that this woman had an inner insecurity about her business that showed up in her life by her not having business cards. Her "Attractor Factor" was attracting no business.
On the other hand, and this is what this book will reveal, if that woman were truly clear about her business, she wouldn't even NEED a business card. Business would be attracted to her. Her inner spirit would do her marketing for her.
So, Joe says,
"When you reach a clear inner state of being about your service to the world, the world will almost come to you. When you are clear about the car, person, house, job, or anything that you want, you will start to attract it to you."
That statement reminded me of an affirmation I have been using for years, "I am totally worthy of success and wealth because I provide a valuable service to others." Then it dawned on me, my "attractor factor" has been at work for a long time.

When it comes right down to it...the basic concept is believe in yourself and face the world with a positive attitude...even when that becomes a struggle and after a while it will become second nature! Good info, Dan--it's the rule I live by! ;)
