Help for Victims of Texas Wildfires
If you would like to help our fellow Texans who are dealing with wildfires there are two good choices
- First UMC Bastrop is in need of $20 gift certificates to HEB or Walmart to help displaced persons in their area. Mail them directly to First UMC, 1201 Main St., Bastrop, TX 78602.
- Wildwood UMC is sheltering evacuees. They need money to purchase supplies. Mail checks to Wildwood UMC, 8911 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX 77354. Designate Wildfire Relief on the check.
If you are going to help, people need help NOW... not later! It's really hard to see the necessity of speedy response to helping those in need due to a tragedy like this until you are directly affected...
