Here are my comments I left on Allen's blog. No one is more angry than me for the situation of this country. We have the Technology, talent, resources, infra structure and CAPABLE manpower to climb all the way to the Moon and farther and yet we are all in terrible condition.
All the non cooperative politicians in DC should be handed the cleaning supplies to make all REOs presentable, so at least the housing market will start moving.
"People get what they want, we are all comfortable sitting in front of their TVs and let ... cleaning lady … clean, pizza guy … deliver, and gardener do all the gardening, illegal workers come pick straw berries and salad for us.
Idea is make our present COMFORTABLE, and screw up the future. Your concern is genuine; if there is NO demand for low wages workers then there will be no ILLEGAL border crossings.
The “term” we all Wake up and be responsible during elections, there will be no foreign cheap poor quality dry walls and lead tainted products and no cheap laborers, No lines at the SS office ... for freeeee money.
Oops! There will be FEWER profits for big corporations, but don't we all want to climb the corporate ladder and keep selling the future of the country for cheap.
But I believe at the end of the day we all are responsible."
