I'm not sure just how much many of you understand about the devastation of our 2011 drought. It's certainly not your fault and that's not what I'm saying...it's just that when an earthquake hits a part of the world we feel terrible yet still cannot understand the level of devastation.
My husband and I are attempting to sell a home in Huntsville Texas on 3.83 acres that was absolutely gorgeous. Flowers, trees, shrubs, green grass, beautiful blue water in the pond and lush and healthy trees and landscaping.
Examples:
Pretty, huh?
My trees are dieing one by one. The pond is down to barely a foot of water. The fountain is sitting in mud. The grass is all dead with a crackle to it with every step. Huge trees have gone brown and I can only hope they will be back at some point. My heart is breaking with each and every day of heat and dry weather.
I just checked the weather and there is a little bit of hope! Come on Rain~Come on Rain~come on rain!!!
By the way, would you like to buy this property? With care and rain it will be beautiful again.
I am on my knees! Come on Rain! Come and get us!
