This should be a fun event with plenty of activities to keep all family members interested.
Rebecca, Fall is my favorite time of year. Perhaps because I was born in the fall – I don’t know. Pumpkin is my favorite pie and I love squash. Needless to say, I love pumpkin festivals. I am looking forward to visiting my local pumpkin patch. Once again, you write another great Localism post.
Anita, I look forward to attending this year!
Kathleen, Fall is also my favorite time of the year. I just love all the beautiful bright fall colors of the trees and leaves.
Rebecca - Knowing how beautiful Lewisburg, WV, I'm sure this will be a wonderful festival and a feast for the eyes! Pumpkin festivals are one of my favorite things about fall - something for the whole family to enjoy!
Kristine, that is why I love these festivals the whole family can enjoy and have a good time. I just love the crispness of the Fall air. THe evenings are very cool here...makes me want to have the FP on!
Hi Rebecca~
Oh how I wish I could dash on over tto the festival in my "carriage" before it turns to one of those Pumpkins! =)
Rebecca
What a colorful post! Wish we had some of the Fall colors that you have. One of my fondest memories is driving in West Virginia in the spring when there was an amazing display of dogwoods and azaleas in full bloom. It's like the mountains were covered with lace. Breathtakingly beautiful!
janeAnne, that's funny!
Pacita, I love WV and everyday I see breathtaking views. I am glad you remember the dogwoods and azaleas and like your description of "mountains covered with lace".
Good morning Rebecca,
Certainly sounds like a great event in West Virginia. There is something that every member of the family can enjoy..very colorful post :).
Rebecca,
I love the sight of all the pumpkins in the fields. Locally someone floats a pumpkin on their building and from a distance it looks like the pumpkin baloon is floating on the ocean. This is pumpkin season every where. A
Howdy and afternoon Rebecca
Rebecca, Pumpkin Festivals sure are mighty fun to attend. The West Virginia Pumpkin Festival sure does sound like a mighty fun one, and it sure does offer folks a whole lot to do during it.
Have a good one

Rebecca, love the colors very easy to read and this looks like a fun event to attend. Fall is my favorite time of year, great food from the gardens being harvested, bundling up and layering the cool winter clothes, and not to mention a nice comfy bed at night! :)
Oh my gosh! Is it pumpkin time ALREADY?! Didn't we just do this last month?! Hope you get to enjoy one of these events and take lots of photos!
Have a terrific Thursday...
Dorie, thank you.
Ron & Alexandra...I know pumpkin season!
Dale, thanks and have a great weekend.
Chase, that is exactly why I love the Fall..
Deb, yes it is time to get those pumpkins out on the porch and perhaps make some pumpkin bread.
