IT'S PUMPKIN PATCH TIME!!!
It time to bring the little ones out the the Aubrey Pumpkin Patch to enjoy a full day of activities. When you arrive at the farm, you and your family will jump on board an old time wagon to enjoy about a thirty minute ride through the beautiful country settings. Then you will stop and enjoy your walk through the pumpkin farm to find that one perfect PUMPKIN! Everyone gets to take their pumpkin home.
After you arrive back from pumpkin hunting, you can have a picnic at PUMPKIN LAND. This is a great place where storybook land comes alive so have your camera ready. The kids can pose right along with their favorite nursery rhyme characters.
The last stop on the farm, is Katie's Country Market which carries Halloween novelties, many of the are made on the farm, and a variety of delicuous fall treats which include, pumpkin nut bread, apple butter bread, and hot spiced apple cider. YUMMY!! The Country Market is a restored 1953 sheep barn so there is plenty of history behind this building.

9 Comments on Pumpkin Patch- Come visit the Aubrey Pumpkin Patch
Stephanie: Bad news here. I read today that a great many pumpkin patches have really been hit hard by the weather this year. If pumpkins are not scarce... if you can find them... they will be expensive.
Sounds like a fun place for a family outing. I was just thinking if we will see many pumpkin patches with the drought that we have been having this year.
Karen and Mike- Yes, Texas has been hard with the drought. I am thinking the same too regarding the pumpkins costing more this year.
Hi Stephanie, I have never been to Aubrey Pumpkin Patch, and it looks like a fun place to add to my list to go and check out in October. Yummy, I would love to have me one of those pumpkin pies.
Hi Stephanie, it is definitely the season to begin everything pumpkin. Last week-end I baked a pumpkin pie. It was delicious and it makes the house smell great while baking. Your post and the pumpkin patch looks like a great place to visit. Go and enjoy.
Jerry and Judith, The pumpkin patches are great places to take the kids. I know for my kiddos they like to decorate their pumpkins they pick out. For me, it's pumpkin pie. That is my favorite pie!
Stephanie, It's wonderful that they had enough rain for the Pumpkin Patch to do well. Or maybe they irrigate? Anyway it does sound like a great place to have a family outing and come home with the pumpkins for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas baking.
Judi, I love this time of the year with all the celebrations going on. Yes, baking is wonderful. I'll be honest I use to hate it but now loving it as my mom has given me some great tips and enjoying having the little ones involved.
Remember that pumpkins and pumpkin patches present opportunities for getting great pictures!
