Steiner Ranch is located in North West Travis County, not actually within the city limits of Austin TX, but using an Austin address and zip, 78732. Steiner Ranch is a huge Master Planned Community that has just about everything you could want in a community. It's not it's own city, but probably should be with 3 Exemplary Rated Elementary Schools on site in addition to an Exemplary Rated Middle School. Yes, it's a very family oriented community.
In addition to houses and schools, it also has several restaurants, stores, daycares, doctors, dentists, a gas station, and fire department all right on site! You never have to leave if you don't want to!
Steiner Ranch is one of those communities that will always be hot! Currently there are 92 properties that are Active on the Market. You might think that's a lot, but when I tell you that in the past 90 days, there have been 84 properties closed and another 41 under contract, which is 125 total, you think there is less than a 3 month supply of houses currently on the market! That's an awesome thing for a neighborhood like this.
Out of those 217 properties, you might be thinking that there has to be a lot of foreclosure or short sales, because the NATIONAL news tells us that, but you would be wrong!! Out of 217 properties from the past 90 days in Steiner Ranch Austin TX, there are ONLY 2 foreclosures that have sold, 1 under contract, and 1 currently active. Out of the remaining 213 properties in Steiner Ranch, ONLY 1 Short Sale has sold, there are 2 short sales under contract, and only 3 short sale currently active on the market.
That is a tiny portion of foreclosures and short sales, less than 5%, in Steiner Ranch.
