Clients Who are mislead by the media..............

Mr.Jim Lee borught a point on his response to my 07/27/2006 blog he stated that the media misleads clients with bogus info all the time. Why? To get them to buy their magazines, newspapers and watch their tv shows. I get a kick watching those late night / weekend  infomercials that all of these "direct lenders"  show. They all claim to provide the best rates, programs and claim to be the best lender out there. I am curious to see if clients actually call these people up and get their loan done. When they show the customer testimonials you would have to foolish to notice that these "clients" are paid actors reading off of a teleprompter!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had clients in the past actually try to get their home refinanced with these companies and they just dont deliver. Half of the time they are bait and switched or the rate they offer is just too high. THis is due to the fact that they are obviously making 2 or 3 points in the back. Dont get me wrong there is nothing wrong with msking money but dont mislead your customers by promising them the best rate and fee schedule in the market.

Infomercials are definitely pretty wacky.  I hope you don't mean that about Countrywide.  In most cases, its not the lender, its the loan officer.  If you have a person new in the business who can only give a client 1 option then he/she is no good.  If you have an experienced loan officer that can give them more than 1 option, maybe 4, then he is a better loan officer.  I give the best, in order to receive the best feedback and referrals.  My business is structred around referrals from existing clients/friends.

Always,
