I'm guessing your ponds will be on the tour?  I have always enjoyed ponds and one day, in my spare time, I'd love to create my own water garden.  Maybe you could drive over and help ;0)  Have Fun!

Same question Amy asked.  Is your pond part of the tour Michael?

If you have a POND, do you had a MOAT? surrounding your CASTLE?  NOW THAT would be FUN!

What an interesting concept Michael...pond tours, don't think we've ever heard of these before even though this one is in its 20th year. Is it something that you join and then visit other members water gardens?

Yes Michael, please do tell.  Will your ponds be in that?  We haven't seen the finished product yet.  Any chance there is a video coming of you walking us through your ponds?

That does sound like a wonderful event.  Good job promoting it!  I hope it is very well attended.

Good morning, All. Thank you for your responses. No, my pond will not be in this year's tour. This year, the tour is for ponds in the Belle Meade and Belleview areas of Nashville. Maybe next year. And yes, I will do some videos and take pictures...

Michael - I can't wait to see the 2011 Parade of Pond through your eyes. I'm sure you will capture some amazing photos from your always unique and interesting perspective! I've seen photos of the pond you built (another amazing talent you have) and I'm sure Nashville Pond society, while great, has nothing on your work!

With all the work you put into creating your pond, it's a shame that the tour won't go through your backyard this year. But there's always next year. Looking forward to the pics and video my friend.

Michael, I love good water features, and if I was living a commuting distance from Nashville, I would be there.

I have never seen ponds parade around.  How do they do that?  On floats?  Do they put them back when they are done?
