Crozet Virginia - Gets a Harris Teeter!

In the Fall of 2008 Harris Teeter is slated to open in Crozet Virginia.

Some may say "big deal" well it is a big deal! Instead of driving 15 minutes to Charlottesville it will be a short drive (or walk) locally in Crozet.

It will be located on Route 250 near the Blue Ridge Building Supply. Just down the road from Western Albemarle High School and the new development "Old Trail"!

Charles this is a much needed addition to the area. Most people shop and drive to Charlottesville from Crozet.

PEG - I know, for sure this is a local issue.

Keep us updated of developments in this new community-

The store will bring added value to the area. We used to have to drive 15 minutes to the nearest one. Now We have one a half mile away.

Charles, Harris Teeter is such a great store. I'm lucky to live just a mile from our closest one. They've been sprouting up all across Northern Virginia. I can think of 7 Harris Teeters within a 15 minute drive from where I live.

BRIAN - Glad to see ya on my blog. You folks in the big city have so many more resourse than we do I forget sometimes how nice that is. For the town of Crozet this is a really big deal. My wife and I shop there too, it is a great store!

This is a big deal!! My little town Youngsville NC is just now getting a Food Lion I think we are just a few years away from a Harris Teeter.

We just got a new Harris Teeter about 3 months ago - it is a half mile from our church, very convenient after worship stop. Also, we have a Panera Bread and Wegmans coming. Karen

That's great news for Crozet. With Harris Teeter now in the books, who will be next?

I lived in White Hall for two years and rember those days of ACTUALLY having to plan my grocery trips. What a dilemma.
