This farm is 44 acres, including cropland(25 acres), rustic cottage, pond, woodland, marsh and 600 feet of waterfront on the Choptank River. It is only 1 hour from both Washington DC and Baltimore MD. 2 hours from Philadelphia. The cottage was built by my grandfather, after he emigrated from the Netherlands in the early 20th century. My grandmother (also Dutch), along with a friend hand painted Dutch scenes on a mural in the living room.
Currently planted in 25 acres of soybeans, the land would also make good pasture for livestock. In the winter, my son hunts both deer and waterfowl on the property.
