Did you know that over 3 BILLION videos are viewed every day on YouTube???

These stats are mind boggling!!

Do you have a YouTube account set up and now you don't know what else to do?

Only 3% of real estate agents use Video in their marketing of their listings or promoting themselves.

What a huge loss this is. Most people think that YouTube is too big to conquer so they don't even go and try it out.

Some dip their toes in but then run out because it is too scary and cold there.

I love using my youtube and now Vimeo accounts for getting my messages out. I have to say though, Vimeo is far superior in quality and flexibility, of course youtube has a bigger following. If I had my choice we'd all use Vimeo though... just sayin'

Dominic- Youtube is the second largest search engine. The reason we use Youtube is because you get double the spots on a seach engine, actually triple because Yahoo picks up youtube very fast. So you get on page one on google for your keyword and then also can get on page one on Youtube for the same keyword. Double the results from one effort. Also, YouTube has a very strong community which is like its own social network. While Vimeo is better for quality- the traffic is on Youtube. Katerina

Sharon- That would be great. I was a member of SAG for years too. I was a model and actress at 14 to 22. My kids, 5 of them, were all child actors and models. My sons did a famous Pepsi commercial with Shaq years ago! We were all in Holy Man, Something about Mary, Any Given Sunday, Analyze This, Water Boy and a lot more. That is all I can remember off the top of my head. Katerina

Wow, this sounds interesting Katerina! The statistics you shared was also very surprising, and helpful at the same time. It is indeed practical to use videos to market listings. Ive seen a really excellent video recently and I heard that the listing they had advertised on video was sold within 30 days. With how great you are as a Wellington Short Sale Agent, I'm sure you have uploaded plenty of good videos like that.
