Staging your Schaumburg IL Home to Sell, Phase 2

Welcome back to Stage-apalooza Phase 2.  This segment of the program is considered the 'meat and potatoes', the 'heavy lifting portion' of putting your home on the market to sell.  All parts and segments of staging your home are important and will eventually blend together to make your home shine on the market.  With proper planning and direction these videos will give you examples on what will make the largest impact for your future buyers.

Sellers should not feel reluctant to stage their home.  It is just presenting the home in it's best possible light to future buyers.  Buyers in turn want to see homes that will fit 'how they want to live' not 'with a little work'.

Think of it this way ...... you walk into Macy's and see a great pair of staging advice, schaumburg IL homes, schaumburg IL real estate, shoes. You ask the salesmen for your size and out comes your selection in a tattered, yellow paint speckled box.  Upon opening the box, you find the inside is painted bright Barbie pink and the shoes you expected to try on are all worn and muddy. Oh, and don't forget you are going to pay $200,000 for them too.

Get the picture?  No one wants tattered, torn, old and wallpapered.

Lyn - Oh my gosh, I just love your analogy of wanting to buy a home akin to buying a pair of shoes.  Opening a door to a staged home is like opening a shoe box and finding beautiful, patten leather shoes, all shiny and elegant looking, without a scuff mark on them!

Sally:  That's what people want to see when they purchase their home.  ;-)
