Workshop Today, Was a Hit!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Fran Rokicki Realty, LLC

Wells Fargo has been sponsoring several workshops and seminars to help Realtors with their businesses in this market.  Today's was a workshop with Rick DeLuca.  It was held at the Crowne Plaza, in Cromwell, Ct.  About twenty minutes from Hartford.

Breakfast and networking from nine to ten o'clock and then, Rick DeLuca offered his expertise, from ten until one o'clock.  We had a break and Wells Fargo provided food, snacks and drinks.  I don't know how many people were in attendance, but, the room was full.

Today's workshop was titled, Avoid the Twenty Biggest Mistakes that Agents Make.

The information was helpful and timely.  During this last quarter, he offered ideas and tips that would be good to implement prior to or starting at the new year.  He talked about marketing, schedules, timing, forms for working with your clients, business forms,  motivation and personal time.

I had pages of notes, that I know I will review several times.  He offered several new internet tools that I had not heard of.  Always good to attend a seminar or a workshop and walk away with, at least, one new idea.  I am lucky.  Today, I learned of four good ideas that I am going to implement into my business

Rick is in Connecticut, so, if you would like to attend one of these workshops, be sure to contact your Wells Fargo Team and ask them where the nearest event will be held for you.  It was so worth the time!

Thank you, Rick!

Hi, Frances -- sounds like a great series of seminars.  For those of us who are in different localities, your notes (over time) might make for a great series of blogs.  All the best to you and have a great 4th Quarter.  Regards, Eric ^0-0^

Education will never go out of style. I take as many seminars as I can to learn more and more to make myself marketable for my clients.

Eric, Thank you:)  The speaker asked us, what one thing will you take away today?  I, actually, discovered more than one thing.  Not bad for a half day seminar!

Harry, I do the same.  There is always something that we can learn and use to better ourselves and our client's experiences in real estate.
