Debe - What an excellent post about "Old Charlotte" communities.
Hi Debe,
We have never been in charlotte, but you describe and show it so well, we feel like neighbours already, thanks that is a great local community information articel.
Hi Deb, love the old history and historical areas of cities across the country...one of my favorite things to do when visiting a new city...nice post.
There seem to be so many different communities in Charlotte. Cannot keep them all straight.
Deb, I love visiting Charlotte and have been known to go to open houses with my sisters who live in Charlotte. I also lovvve the shopping.
Another great Localism report on Charlotte neighborhoods, Debe. You do your city proud.
I can never stop by without telling you what an amazingly thorough job you do in local blog writing Deb. Always first class with links, photos and some soul. I point you out as a case study of how it should be done.
Hi Debe - Old Charlotte looks a lot like old Nashville, and I love them both. The mature trees and fantastic landscaping is the biggest advantage over a new neighborhood. It takes many years to look like this.
Thank you all so much for the comments! Had a BUSY day and am just now getting over to AR! I do love Charlotte and if you're ever here, you'll get the grand tour of all of these neighborhoods. It's such a neat, clean and gorgeous city and you'll quickly know which area is your favorite--they're all so distinctly different but, blend together so nicely. Melissa, I promise you won't be confused! And, Steve, thank you so much--that really means alot! And, reminds me that I need to contact you for someone's phone number--had a phone crash and LOST it! I'm going insane here! LOL
Thanks again everyone! Hope you all have a terrific Thursday...
