It is important for a Realtor to make an impact on their buyers. Word of mouth is a very important part of the Real Estate Industry.
"Today 85% of people who buy a home don't even remember their Real Estate Agents name only 2 years after buying their home."
Consider referrals and how leaving a lasting impression on a buyer can influence them to refer their friends or family to you. You are Marketing You!
In todays Real Estate Market or any market; leaving an impression on your customer is a vital part of business. Businesses or business can only grow if you have a growing customer base. So treating your customers like they are the only one can give them the comfort level they need to leave with a smile. Today so many businesses are so focused on their next sale they forget to finish on a good note with their current sale. This is something that can leave a customer with a bad taste in their mouth. One point I have read about over the last couple of weeks is the "gift" factor. Most buyers can remember the gift they received from their Realtor well after closing, which means they remember their Realtor! Using promotional products from companies like NorthStar Identity can help you become more memorable. If your going to give a gift, why not make it a memorable one that will showcase yourself or your business. Its the gift that keeps on giving.

Jared, How are you connected with Propertynut.com?  I got an email this week and listed my new townhome listing on it.  So who will see my listing?  The gift that I give that lasts forever...... My buyers get two Adirondack chairs that my husband builds for them.  I have one client that hugs me every time he sees me and says he sits in his chair every evening on his front porch and remembers me.    Problem is:  I haven't quite figured out how to make the chairs tax deductible as a business expense because I do not purchase them and if I did then my husband would probably have to become a business and pay taxes on his income that I would be deducting.  Catch 22 so he just builds them and I give them.  Guess I could deduct the wood, glue, bolts, paint and his time.   Please let us know more about propertynut.com listings and who sees them.  Thanks,  Donna Grady, Keller Williams Realty, Wilmington, NC

Donna:

Thanks for the listing!
I hate to send you on a wild goose chase in the internet world but I think it is the best way to describe what we do. Typing it all here could get lengthy. Check this webpage out (WebNut Blog) {I am the WebNut} and it will best describe what we do for you and what we do with your ads once they are published onto PropertyNut.com.

Send me an email if this does not answer your questions and I can have our VP of Marketing sendyou an email. He will be able to give you the In's and Out's of our Nutty process!

By the way how did you find PropertyNut.com? I am interested to find out!

I love the chair idea. It is something that will definately make you stand out ... its that personal touch!

Donna - In addition to giving the chairs, you might want to consider putting a small engraved plate that has both your buyers name on it along with your name and info.  This way it becomes even a little more memorable and give you a little more exposure because any guests that they might invite over will definately look at the plaque even if your client doesn't mention where he got it from.

Excellent idea Jim.  Thanks for thinking of that.  Jared, I saw the cute PropertyNut ad on ActiveRain and clicked on it.  I just posted another one on there.  I noticed that my townhouse property has had 50 hits since I listed it last week.  No one has called me to see it though.  I would like to track who does schedule an appointment from this website.  Any way to do that?  Thanks, Keep up the great work to help us out.  Donna Grady
